In my recent work, I explore the collective memories of the places we retain in our subconscious. By creating imagined landscapes, I intertwine what is seen in nature with structural forms such as bridges, arches, domes, tracks and ladders.
I use these fragmented elements in a dream like space that evokes personal associations. At times, the imagery is conceived through painting, sewing, printmaking, or drawing; other times, as an installation.
Finally, patterns have always been important to me. I visualize the repetitions and rhythms of my environment in my work.
